Have you ever hard the phrase “You are what you eat,”? In today’s modern society, filled with processed foods and video games, I would venture to restate that common phrase as “You are what you eat and do.” What you eat, and what you do in your spare time matters. If all you eating is processed food, you’re going to get fat. If all you do is sit at home and watch television, or play video games, you’re going to get fat. You are what you eat and do.
Processed food is filled with chemicals, preservatives, and other by-products that our bodies don’t know how to digest or what to do with. As a result, our bodies get clogged, our metabolism slows down, and we get fatter and fatter with each passing day and each additional processed meal we eat. By eating whole foods, you can actually encourage your body to increase its metabolism. Unlike with processed foods, your body knows how to digest whole foods. Because your body knows how to digest whole food, nothing remains to clog your bodies.
Think about the food that you eat on a daily basis. Are you confident that you get the vitamins and nutrients your body needs from the food you eat, or do you take vitamin supplements? If you’re eating wholesome, real food, there should be no need for you to take vitamin supplements because you should be getting all your nutrients from the food you eat.
Just as you are what you eat, you are what you do. Eating better is 먹튀커뮤니티 a good start to leading a healthier, happier life, but exercise will ensure that your body runs efficiently. If you spend your days sitting at a desk, and then come home and sit in front of the television, you’re probably not burning the all calories you’re eating. If you’re not burning the calories you’re eating, you’re gaining weight.
Many people seem to forget, or are not aware that muscle burns more calories than fat, therefore you need to build muscle if you want to increase your metabolism even further. This means you can’t just jump on an elliptical or a treadmill for 30 minutes to an hour a day and expect that to increase your metabolism. Those are cardiovascular exercises that help you burn fat, but not build muscle. This is why many people who try and lose weight are successful initially when they start running, but plateau shortly thereafter. By incorporating weight training into your exercise routine you can ensure continuous weight loss, and an increase in your metabolism.
